Hoolest has developed a neurostimulation platform for mental health and human performance applications. Their first product is the P57 ONE, a non-invasive vagus and great auricular nerve stimulation device intended to provide fast-acting anxiety relief and to improve overall mental health without dependence on medications. The device has been demonstrated in 3 clinical studies to provide clinically meaningful anxiety relief in 10 minutes or less. The device is now being reviewed by the FDA, and Hoolest expects to obtain FDA-clearance for the P57 ONE by fall of 2022.

Future products being developed include software applications to help patients track and quantify their
mental health over time and neurostimulation embodiments to treat additional conditions like
headache pain, nausea, and other wellness applications such as performance enhancement.

Open Position – Clinical Research Assistant
Hoolest is looking to hire clinical research assistants to help our research team market and recruit
patients for two clinical studies being conducted at the GCU location. This is a part time position and
tasks will include:
• becoming familiar with the P57 ONE device and how it works;
• becoming familiar with the clinical study protocols;
• assisting in recruiting people from the GCU campus and other locations to participate in the trial
using various marketing channels such as email, social media, craigslist, flyers posted around
campus, and other channels;
• assisting the research team in other study-related tasks.

Qualifications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Passion for mental health and technology
• Self-driven
• Experience recruiting participants for past studies or projects

Open Position – Scientific Writer / Blogger
Hoolest is looking for a part time (at least 10 hours/week) scientific writer to write analyses and
summary reports of clinical research in the field of mental health treatment, neurotechnology, and
human performance enhancement.
Your job will be to read through the most current research studies and reports in the field, write
summary reports of those research studies, and post those summary reports to our website.
You will need to read and write at least one summary report of a research study publication every week, and post your report to our website each week. Your work will help our team stay up to date on the most recent findings in the literature, which will help with future product development, gather interest from mental health professionals, and ultimately the successful launch of our first product.

Responsibilities
• Weekly searches through clinical research databases to search for the most recent publications covering topics such as mental health treatment, latest trends in psychology or psychotherapy, neurotechnology, or human performance enhancement.
• Reading at least 1 research publication and writing a 1-page report that summarizes the research findings.
• Posting a 1-page summary report to the Hoolest website at least 1 time per week.
• Weekly meetings with Hoolest leadership team members.

Qualifications
• Completed or working towards a degree in science, engineering, or a field related to mental
health;
• Completed or working towards completing a graduate-level thesis, dissertation, or another type
of a significant research manuscript;
• Passion for clinical research and understanding the latest in scientific discovery;
• Passion for mental health, technology, and human performance;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Self-driven
• Fun, hard working individual able to relate on a personal level with other team members;

HomeKey’s founders are searching for the right person to act as our Graphic Design Specialist. This person would complete a variety of print & digital design and office tasks – some one that’s willing to wear a few hats in order to be a part of HomeKey’s successful expansion with current partnerships.

Things you’ll do

- Research current design trends across all platforms – social media, responsive websites and print.
- Be involved with creative brainstorming sessions for marketing campaigns and graphic design
- Work with marketing to design digital graphics for HomeKey’s social media channels, website, blog, and email campaigns.
- Work with the data on-boarding team to prepare digital images to appear within the HomeKey mobile app for one or many homes and/or models
- Work with the product team to produce in-app, digital content ranging from showcase cards to icons
- Work with the marketing team on print marketing collateral

Qualifications

- Excellent knowledge of graphic design principles such as typography, layout and color
- Experience designing graphics for social media and website, as well as print.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast pace and deadline oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently and clearly communicate information verbally and in writing
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. Specifically with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Premiere and Aftereffects are a plus.
- Experience with Google apps, Mac OS, and project management tools such as Monday.com

Requirements

- Junior or Senior student majoring in graphic design, digital design or UI design.
- Strong design portfolio
- 1+ years of professional experience (Preferred)
